I have some lovely new solo exhibition news to share!
My lovely friend Cath Ray, who makes the most beautiful hand made books, is opening her very own gallery and studio in Bridgegate in Retford. It will be a creative hub in the town with after school classes and three other artist based there with their working studios. I admire her drive hugely and it has made me think that one day I might have a town based studio for people to visit. She asked me to be her very first artist showing and Friday was the PV for the opening show, which runs until September 3rd. On show will be new original papercuts, hand printed cushions and paintings - as well as lots of my greetings cards too. It marks a return to me papercutting again after the Bargain Hunt filming made me remember just how much I enjoyed it. Also though, it also is a great opportunity for people to see my paintings and my hand printed cushions too. So do come along and visit if you can! It runs til Sept 3rd 2022.
